John Key visited a school on the campaign trail

John Key was on the campaign trail in Whangarei today – he visited a family centre and a highly successful boat building company, Circa Marine.

Cute kids and a Kiwi business success story – it’s classic campaign trail stuff, but today was a bit of a shambles.

The difference is that Mr Key’s under siege and, highly unusually for him, he's lost a bit of his confidence and ease.

where is the real questions campbell? Like winston when will you pay back the $158,000 you stole from taxpayers. Goff, what else do your new billboards plan to leave us as well as the debt they promise to leave. hilary do you know how to count? I'll give you a quick lesson, $400 million ECE funding under labour. $1.2 billion ECE funding under national, that isn't a cut. guessing you failed basic math. what the government did do was decide that ECE areas where people were not wealthy deserved more funding than areas that were, and that areas where they did not have enough teachers shouldn't be closed but should receive extra funding to get the teachers they needed.
