Megaupload founder and internet piracy accused Kim Dotcom is causing controversy online with a series of tweets about rape jokes.

Kim Dotcom on Twitter

Dotcom posted on his Twitter account: ‘Fly on the Wall. John to Hillary: “I am so sorry Madam President aehm Secretary. Please give me another chance. Should we allege some rape?”

The joke received negative responses from some of Dotcom’s 132,000 Twitter followers, prompting him to delete it.

He has since tweeted a number of times apologising for his rape joke and asking for forgiveness – while also linking to more rape jokes.

“Do not read beyond this point unless you have a sense of humor!” Dotcom tweeted with a link to a collection of 15 jokes.

Dotcom shot to international fame in January after a police raid on his Auckland mansion. He is currently awaiting a hearing for his extradition to the US, scheduled for March next year.

Several photos Dotcom had posted of himself online – many of him with scantily clad women – became popular on the internet following his arrest.

I find the advert for who killed rosie lauren? on this page much more sickening than sarcasm by a man who has been stabbed in the back by multiple NZ politicians after they asked him for cash deposits.
The title should be rather : who killed your girlfriend/sister/mother of young children/niece/aunty/fiance/best friend/nana.
This is a chronic crime here.
Why promote it as if its ok or normal behaviour.

There was only one piece of importance in this article, and it is an odd way to report it: "my wife told me she felt as if she'd been raped" [by the actions of the cyber police]
