The idea to use browser’s encryption, even if based on AES-126 and 2048 bit RSA, by Mega is not so good and safe. Most of browsers are made in USA and must comply with USA regulations which foresee for non domestic usage smaller symmetric keys: in this case known number of bits will be set to null. Therefore, encryption will be not as strong as Dotcom assumes it. Additionally, Mega uses hash of user’s password to encrypt correspondent master key. This is a real security hole. Firstly, Mega’s bosses can’t say that they are not able to inspect downloads any time they will. For this it is enough to copy in a local DB login names and correspondent hashes. This may be done as well by a corrupted system administrator which cooperates with FBI or anyone else. Secondly, FBI agents may let them be registered as ordinary user und brows public share by Mega. Thirdly, automatically generated RSA key pairs are not proved for how strong they encrypt. There are a lot of such keys which do not encrypt at all. So that the whole PKI traffic may occur to run plainly. Summarizing, Dotcom is someone like baron Munchausen.

As an artist, both visual and musical i am glad to see Kim Dotcom's new site up and running and challenging what i consider to be the racketeering cartels that currently exploit artists and consumers and clearly politicians and public servants also.
What i wonder is that as the high court of NZ approved Dotcoms suing of the GCSB WHY HAS THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS NOT FILED CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST GRANT WORMALD FOR HIS CRIMES IN CONNECTION WITH THE TUHOE AND DOTCOM RAIDS AS HIS CRIMES WERE FAR MORE SERIOUS THAN EITHER TAMA ITI"S OR DOTCOMS AND INVOLVED A BREACH OF THE PUBLIC TRUST?
Is NZs reputation for no corruption as bogus as its green rep, valid only because the corrupt are never, ever prosecuted in NZ?
So here's to Kim Dotcom and the demise of the racketeering cartels monopoly and exploitation!
