Western ways have got a lot to answer for. I guess cleaning it up & shipping it out is part of the solution, but really, it goes way deeper than that to the roots of our economy based on waste and 'consumption' - i.e. buying stuff that then creates waste.

Fantastic to know that this big task has started. It is so sad to see used nappies littering the beautiful beaches of these lovely islands. Hopefully by getting the children involved in the clean up, they will show the way for their families and for the future. I hope there is a good plan for how this can continue.
