As Wall Street has risen and slumped so too has the value of the New Zealand dollar against the Greenback.

Briefly it went below 71 US cents and raised the possibility of it going below the 70 US cent mark.

Derek Rankin, of Rankin Treasury Advisory, talks about the prospects of the kiwi.
