The most talked about controversy in science right now is the argument over the speed of light.

Albert Einstein told us nothing travels faster than light and we believed him.

But last month the CERN laboratory in Switzerland announced they had measured tiny particles called neutrinos travelling faster.

CERN is not the first to do an experiment challenging relativity, they are just the first people anyone has taken seriously.

But right here in New Zealand, a physicist came to this conclusion 40 years ago.
