The first medals have been handed out at the Commonwealth Games – but none for New Zealand so far.
But, there has been a couple of those all too familiar fourth placings. The men’s gymnastics team and Southland swimmer Natalie Wiegersma, who missed out on bronze by three hundredths of a second in the Women’s 200 metre individual medley.
