Acclaimed stoner rock group Kyuss have reformed and are heading to New Zealand to play their first who here in May 2011.
In October 1995, just three months after releasing what was arguably their breakthrough album And The Circus Leaves Town, the influential stoner rock group Kyuss broke up.
They had been on an indefinite hiatus until this year when three of the original four members have regrouped - John Garcia, bassist Nick Oliveri and drummer Brant Bjork.
Bruno Fevery joins the band on guitar, replacing Josh Homme, who went on to form Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures.
The reformed band will be performing at The Powerstation in Auckland on Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14, 2011.
Tickets go on sale Thursday 23 December.
