Lily Allen's wedding dress will be designed by Karl Lagerfeld.

The British singer - who is engaged to builder Sam Cooper - has revealed Chanel designer Karl will create the gown for her special day.

She was spotted visiting the Chanel studios and when asked what she was doing there, replied: "I'm here to see Karl for my wedding dress."

Lily has a history with the French brand, often seen wearing Chanel and even fronting a campaign for the Coco Cocoon bag - although she was eventually replaced by Vanessa Paradis.

Speaking about it at the time, 25-year-old Lily revealed she felt like a "dumpling" while she shot the campaign.

"When Karl Lagerfeld called about the campaign, I didn't tell anyone because I was convinced they made some huge mistake and that it wouldn't happen,” she said.

"I'm not a model so a Chanel shoot is an intimidating process because I'm very aware that I don't look like Lara Stone or Kate Moss. I sat there feeling like a suet dumpling!"
