Wanganui Mayor Michael Laws says it is bizarre and wrong that a group of district councillors has accepted an invitation to visit the Hells Angels gang headquarters in the city.

Mr Laws says their decision can only provide support for criminals and their wrong-doing.

Councillors Rob Vinsen, Philippa Baker-Hogan and Sue Westwood have accepted the invite, but Mr Laws believes three other councillors will also go on the visit to the gang property next Tuesday.

The council failed to force the removal of fences around the gang headquarters that are described as “intimidating”.

Once again Micheal Laws Wanganui's version of Hector Chavez the Venezuelain paternalistic thug of a leader, bullies any councillor who attempts to take an independent line against Laws war against the gangs who are probably the only people with an intelligent view of inbred white prole sink holes like Wanganui, Timaru, Hastings and Invercargill. I know nothing about Wanganui other than my grandfather was a master at Wanganui Collegiate and my fathers friend Malcolm Highet was a presbyterian minister in Wanganui so I will address these issues through the similar gang problem and policing issuse in Timaru and the misadminsitration their by the blond mayoress Janine Annear, Micheals closest mayoral associate. For 25 years the Timaru council and mayors had good relations with the Henchmen and Road Knights and usually stood up for them against the police. Indeed members of the law firms of proominents councillors and mayors often represented them. This may in part be because the founders of the gangs generally came from high academic forms and the police from low ones. Since the frightned women Janine Annear( the only person in Timaru I have never met)Timaru has regressed massively the strip club, the brothel, the interesting nightclubs have closed under the wip of Annears pathetic wowserism which even removed the license from the amganificieny swaying seamans bar the Royal. What always amaazes me is why the police stop bleating about the dangers on the streets and do the thugs who generally turn out to be exactly the same type of people as the male police.Surely Micheal it would be better to relocate yourself n Sydney r ponsonby and just let the gangs takeover. That just might be justice and what towns ike yours deserve.

These councillors have to be careful that they do not promote unlawful activities, just because they would like to be seen to be PC correct. There is already a lot of Injustice, due to the PC correctness.

Michael Laws seams to be making alot of mistakes as whanganuis mayor.Time for a responsible change in power, before he looses a statue or a boat.Very disrespectful person to be in government.Instead of protecting our futures hes constantly rubbing our past in our faces. That is why I feel we need a new leader!Someone who knows what whanganui wants, not just the money!!!
