The Hindu Council of New Zealand is offering New Zealanders the chance to learn mathematics online using techniques developed in ancient India.
Vedic mathematics techniques are an easier and more fun alternative to conventional teaching of mathematics in schools, a Hindu Council spokesperson said.
The web-based live audio-visual sessions on Vedic mathematics are scheduled for July 31 and August 1 and will taught by an expert in the field, a council spokesperson said.
