60 Minutes speaks to people who believe that they have died and come back to life.
They call this a Near Death Experience. Some experience a sensation of leaving their body and floating over it, able to see what is happening but being unable to communicate with the real world, others see their dead loved ones and most say they hurtle down a dark tunnel towards a light that seems to welcome them.
Some even encounter God. But one way or another, they all get sent back.
60 Minutes reporter, Rod Vaughan speaks to some of these New Zealanders who have encountered death and lived to tell the tale.
