WOW, that was AMAZING. If Tevita or Richie's manager or coach could advertise a bank account number I would donate. Got to get Tevita to London for sure, best story I have heard in along time, hope his injury heals well, Good Luck to both lifter's for the future.

Tevita did a ver unselfish thing and that was very brave of him especially when his left calf muscle is painful. It's a very surprising and shocking video to watch but what he did was a memorable thing to do.

Campbell you are a true community spirit saver and lifting courage inside sports in NZ. Thanks to Tavita for his human sacrifice to save a mate why cant our politicians think the same for the country?

What an amazing man and an amazing feat. You can see he wasn't putting any weight on his left leg towards the end of his lift. What a selfless task - hopefully he hasn't done any permanent damage. I would happily contribute to a fund to get him to the Olympics (or to repair his body).

I stuck this comment on your Facebook story last night and also posted the video on the Griffins page this morning. I wonder if someone could organize a sponsorship or raise some money that Tavita can get a Trip to the Olympics and some tickets to see the Weight Lifting while he is there! Wouldn't that be nice! That would be the least he deserves for that effort! I think he has done enough for a Mellow Puff too ha ha! P.S maybe people can donate into a bank account to raise money to get him to London and maybe even his partner/wife if he has one!
