'Lion Man' Craig Busch is vowing to regain control of his beloved Zion Wildlife Park after having a police escort back on to the property this afternoon.

Mr Busch has been embroiled in a bitter employment dispute with his mother Patricia after she sacked him from the park, near Whangarei.

The matter is due to go back before the courts next week, but this afternoon the one-time reality TV star was granted a court order to allow him back in.

I have watched the programe over here in the UK and find that Craig does a brilliant job with the animals and he should be allowed back into the park where he belongs with all the animals after all if it was not for him there would be no Zion wildlife park at all. Good look Craig from one of your fans in the UK.

I realy feel for Craig,he must be devastated being unable to interact with HIS cats, they will be pining for him.
I have watched the Lion Man when it is on tele over and over
again and all I see is someone who is absolutely dedicated to the work he has done with those animals so on that basis
alone he should be allowed back. GOOD LUCK CRAIG XXXX

Having just watched an earlier episode again where Craig is looking to adopt two Cheetahs it brought it home again that this man loves the big cats and the conservation that goes with it.
I think it is a travesty that the family should isolate Craig who is their biggest asset and selling point for Zion wildlife park.
His mother should take stock of the situation and retract her decision for the good of the family - she'll regret it when it is too late and also for the future success of the park.
Craig Busch is Zion Wildlife Park and a credit to conservation and New Zealand.

It seems to me that Craig is being used as a scapegoat. The place needed no positive publicity when Craig presented the show, and as we all saw his lifestyle was meagre which reflects his dedication. Unsurprisingly, when something goes wrong the man at the top is blamed and to avoid negative speculation the entire blame has fallen on his head. His mother should watch the program, she might then respect his passion and professionalism. Over time, public opinion will show the displeasure and injustice. Rememeber, sadly this has become about money, the most powerful message one can send is to not visit the park, or buy the merchandise. Hit them where it speaks the loudest: their pockets. Hopefully, the lack of finance and the loss of enormous publicity for the plight of these endangered animals will not hinder their chance to avoid extinction. After all, they do not belong in captivity and the whole point of the park, and Mr Busch's dream, is to save these rare and wonderful animals. Our thoughts go out to the poor man whose death will be overlooked amongst the turmoil created by an opportunist, money-driven group. Shame on them.

i think its terrible after all the hard work done by craig and his team. The park should be left to craig to run as he thinks he is the lion expert the lion man not his mum. Craigs mum should be ashamed of herself for her strong arm tactics she obviously hasnt given a thought to the wildlife at the park and is only out for her own personel gain. Lets hope the courts put craig back in charge of running the park for the wildlifes sake if nothing else.

family disputes always happen and craig to me is the best person on this planet to deal with the animals i am so disgusted that his mother can treat him like this (HOW SAD SHE IS) craig is the BEST and get him back with his animals and we can look forward to his success and WE WILL SEE HIM BACK. GOOD LUCK CRAIG AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK WE LOVE YOU ALL AND YOUR BABIES XXXXXXXX

I think Craig should be allowed back into the park and back to the animals they need him and he needs them I wish him all the best and let the healing begin.
