93 mins - All over! Manchester United win and Evra celebrates!!! Check out all the goal scoring action from the match.

91 mins - Liverpool really giving it some in these last three minutes of stoppage time.

90 mins - Aww! A free kick and Bellamy swings one in...It lands for Johnson who has a crack from distance and it takes a great save from De Gea to save United's bacon...

86 mins- Video updated of the goal scoring action...Liverpool looking more threatening but time is running out....

80 mins - GOAL! SUAREZ SCORES FOR LIVERPOOL. It was from the free kick and Ferdinand couldn't deal with the ball in, Suarez was following up and poked it home from close range, video up.

79 mins - Carrick goes in the referee's handbook for a foul on Suarez.

76 mins - Charlie Adam is on for Liverpool, a touch late?

75 mins - Aww Welbeck has a dig on target but it's handled, video up.

72 mins - Enrique with an aimless ball across the park, a metaphor for how Liverpool have played today.

70 mins - Scholes and Rooney try to create some magic, nothing doing. Check out the goals from Rooney, click on the links for extended coverage with replays....

68 mins - Liverpool haven't really made too many inroads into the United half...As I type they do make an incision but it is quickly snuffed out by the United backs.

65 mins - Liverpool are running out of time to save the day...Raina goes the direct route looking for his tall striker in Carrol.

60 mins- Liverpool have made some changes, Carrol is on can he make a difference....Rooney has been hunting for a second in the past ten minutes, he had one decent chance but couldn't convert.

Wow! That was a frantic period, all video has been cut and is now up of the two Wayne Rooney goal, worth a look...We will head back to the commentary now...

48 mins - ROONEY IN AGAIN!! That's two in quick time! This one he receives the pass in midfield and simply tucks it away with the left boot. Lovely stuff. Video coming.

46 mins - Early corner for United, Gigs in and ROONEY!!!! WAYNE ROONEY HAS SCORED HE NAILES THE VOLLEY AT THE BACK POST  and United are in! Video up soon.

Second half: Back underway and reports are in that there was a 'coming together' of players in the tunnel, stewards had to separate the players so tension is high in this second half!

45+1 mins - One extra minute but nothing really happens, the players make their way to the tunnel and there is some tension in the air surrounding Suarez...hmmm that might explode in the second half...Catch you soon for the next 45 mins... United the better of the first half.

44 mins - Rafael makes another break down the right side...Downing is forced into a pretty reckless tackle and he cops the first yellow card of the day...video up.

42 mins - Not this time but Ferdinand is forced to concede another corner form the resulting play...Liverpool enjoying applying some pressure at the back end of this half...Skrtel making himself known to the United defence.

41 mins - Gerrard earns his team a corner kick, can they put De Gea under pressure...

39 mins - Suarez running hard at the UNited backline, he works a little move with Kuyt but Ferdinand is here to douse the flames of attack.

36 mins - United definitely with the better attack so far, Liverpool came at them through Kuyt but the ball he delivered lacked any real direction and was dealt with easily...United on the other hand have look very threatening...

34 mins - Ohh Valencia bends a cross to the back post where Evra comes flying in and gets a head on it, the ball flies over the bar however to many ohh's and ahh's from the faithful crowd. Video up.

33 mins - Liverpool come back with some of their own route 1 football but then Kuyt gives away a needless free kick and United ease off...

30 mins - Awww! Best chance of the match so far as Giggs fires in a ball to the near post...Scholes was there and got the header on target, instinctive save from Raina, video up.

26 mins - Rooney lurking near the top of the box and he gets a shot away that forces movement from Raina, not on target though, video updated.

25 mins - Quiet five minutes, no real drama, although Rafael has just gone down and is walking around rather gingerly...Check out the above video to see the tension at the handshakes today!

20 mins - Looks like the right hand flank could be a way in for United today, Liverpool look vulnerable down there, watch this space....

18 mins - Valencia and Rafael combining well down the right hand side, Rafael gets a shot away on target but it's saved, video up.

15 mins - After the initial passion and fire this game is starting to settle a little...until...

14 mins - Dirk Kuyt plays a couple of balls into the United area, he can't find a fellow Liverpool player however and the danger is cleared.

12 mins - Liverpool starting to find their feet at Old Trafford as Suarez earns his side a free kick - a high boot from Evans...A few standing over the pill, who will take the free kick?

8 mins - Aww! Suarez and Johnson combine well and it's the latter who has a shot which is just wide, enterprise from Liverpool there. Video up.

5 mins - In terms of the match it's been end to end, some heavy defence which is to be expected. United with the better of the early chances, a couple of corners and a free kick near the area. Raina up to the task though.

Kickoff- We are underway and already some drama in the derby, Suarez did not shake Evra's hand when the teams came together- VIDEO UP of this, check it out.

Giggs on board again

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has signed a one-year contract extension, committing him to the English Premier League club for a 23rd straight season.

The only player to score in every Premier League season, the 38-year-old Giggs made his first-team debut in March 1991 and has never played for another club.

The most decorated player in British football history, Giggs beat Bobby Charlton's long-standing appearance record in the 2008 Champions League final and has played 898 matches for United - 140 more than Charlton.

"Ryan is a marvelous player," United manager Alex Ferguson said. "In many ways, he epitomizes all my teams here at United. He has constantly reinvented himself, adapted to the changing nature of the game and retained that desire and hunger for success.

"In every training session and match, he is the example for others to follow. The young players in the dressing room have a great chance to learn from a player who will continue to break records that anyone in the game will find hard to beat."

Giggs has won 25 major honors including two Champions League trophies, four FA Cups and 12 Premier League titles, including United's record 19th English league championship last season.

"When I signed my first contract, I never thought I would be able to play at United for 22 years, but I feel good and I know I can still contribute to keeping the team pushing for honors," Giggs said. "Winning the club's 19th title was a great feeling but this club is all about what we do next and I'm really pleased I can be part of that."
