The telemovie Liz & Dick, starring Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor and New Zealand's Grant Bowler as Richard Burton, airs in the US next month.
Lifetime network says the film will premiere on the network on November 25.
Hollywood actress Lohan, 26, who has had frequent brushes with the law for drug, drink, driving and theft offences, was in the news for more off-screen drama during filming of Liz & Dick.
She crashed her Porsche and was later treated by paramedics for exhaustion and dehydration.
Bowler, 44, best known to New Zealand audiences as Wolf on Outrageous Fortune, has appeared in popular American TV series True Blood, Lost and Ugly Betty.
