Lunchbox Day donations not over yet
Fri, 05 Oct 2012 7:00p.m.
Last Friday something pretty special happened.
With your help Campbell Live raised more than half a million dollars for KidsCan to feed hungry children at schools throughout New Zealand. Once school returns after the holidays, we'll be working with KidsCan to show you how your money will be spent.
But the truth is efforts to raise money for kids didn't end with lunchbox day last week.
Watch the video to see the story.
And you can still contribute to the cause - our text line is still open, just text Lunch to 8595 for an automatic $3 donation to buy a kid a lunch they otherwise wouldn't have.
And if you can't text, you can send us a cheque - we've received thousands of dollars worth just in the last couple of days.
Thank you all for your contributions, they are gratefully accepted.
