A Missouri man who changed his name to Led Zeppelin II says his life has improved "a thousand-fold".
George Blackburn, 64, told stltoday.com he did it the day he divorced his third wife, and wanted a fresh start.
"I don't want to appear to be some off-the-wall, drug-addict idiot," he said. "I just changed my name from the standpoint that I can be a better person than I used to be."
He says he now gets free drinks and dinners from admiring Led Zeppelin fans, and even his ex-wife likes it, calling him "L.Z" or "Zep".
"They changed my life, forever, and that's my whole reason for doing this," says Zeppelin, who first saw the band in the late 1960s.
Led Zeppelin II came out in October 1969, and featured guitar classics 'Whole Lotta Love' and 'Heartbreaker'.
