Anyone who knew Kelt as a teen would have laughed long and loud at this article. So called boy racer behaviour is tame compared to his efforts in vehicles over the years and is a reflection generally on his 'attitude' toward others. Sam should know better than to try and paint himself as a self-styled saint .... with so many skeletons in the closet.

I was the guy in the white honda integra in this video clip and I am offended that I was filmed for this. I was going the speed limit, I have no criminal convictions and I dont race! I was going up town to pay some bills and my car is completely legal. I dont even like the term "boyracer" but it seems that I am condemned for having the same taste in cars as them. Would I be called a boyracer if I owned say a v8 or a euro type vehicle? I think anyone can be stupid in any car. The fact of the matter is that the guy kicked someones car and now he's getting chatged for it. I hope he gets punished to the full extent of the law. Perhaps he shoulnt worry about other peoples behaiviour and focus on his own. Yes I think there is a problem with this "boyracer" epidemic we have in New Zealand. But this type of vigilante type behaiviour is no way to solve the problem. Ask yourself this question; If some random person came up to your car and attempted to kick it how would you react?

How many times has Kelt been before the courts for aggressive behaviour? Probably more than most so called Boy Racers. The incedent in 2004 where Kelt wrestled with Police and was pepper sprayed after driving drunk makes me think Kelt is as dangerous to the public as those he rants about in this article. Black Kettle call in my opinion.

Things go wrong when Individuals take the law in their hand like taking revenge, killing and murderings. We would rather leave it to the experts to handle it than going around and kicking other people's car may cause this wealthy brain man to loose his legs in the future.

what a turd! You damn right deserve to be charged for kicking the car and how is crushing a "boy racer's" car going to help anything? if per say crush a car now, they'l go and buy another rust bucket and hoon around.
Not going to make a freaking difference about time more money and resources are spent on robberies occouring these days than whinge about "boy racers" hooning up and down. If you are that serious about NZ'rs being troubled id say look outside the square.. far worse problem we face, boy racing is just the tip of the ice berg. Just get over it people the more ruckuss you cause about boy racers the more those dim witted teenagers will react. /rant

I totally agree with Sam's arguements, But end of the day,From the legal point:
He should not take the law in his hand by going around and kick boy racers car. That's not acceptable.
If he's a brainy wealthy man, then he should follow the proper legal steps to resolve this matter, Otherwise It won't surprise me that if some boy racers actually going to break his legs for kicking their cars in the future.
I don't beleive that he's got any legal rights to do. (I don't support boy racers either, but end of the day only reality wins, isn't it?)

I applaud this man and hope we can follow his story in the future. He is right - Kiwis up and down the country have had a gutsfull of mediocre hoons in their cheap tacky cars - (I will not call them boy racers - it's too innocent a term).
Sam Kelt - You are a brave and honest man. I support you 100 percent. Stephanie Liebert , Balmoral, Auckland.
