A man has returned to Australia after receiving 75 lashes in Saudi Arabia. He said he is happy to be home with his wife and sons, but he is exhausted.
Mansour Almaribe arrived in Melbourne this morning.
He was arrested in Medina on November 14 after being accused of insulting companions of the prophet Mohammed while making the Hajj pilgrimage.
He was originally sentence to 500 lashes and a year in jail. His family feared he would not survive the punishment.
The sentence was later reduced to 75 lashes.
