A professional body piercer has found a way to ensure he never forgets his iPod.

Dave Hurban has implanted four metal studs into his wrist, which secure his iPod Nano through the magic of magnetism.

He sets it to display a clock.

“I just invented the strapless watch,” the New Jersey resident told Reuters. “It's way simpler than you think it is.”

He filmed himself installing the studs and uploaded the video to YouTube.

Hurban says his "invention" was the hit of a recent Baltimore tattoo convention.

“I must have talked to like 400 people individually," he say.

“Every person I showed, they were like so amazed.”
