Investigations are continuing into events which led police to shoot a man in
the leg in south Auckland.
Police shot the man at a Manurewa property, after they were called to a
domestic violence dispute at about 4.20pm on Saturday.

The man was irate and confronted officers, who withdrew and called for tactical
support, police say.
However, before it arrived, the man confronted an officer and was shot in the
leg.
The man was taken to Middlemore Hospital. His injuries are not life
threatening, police say.
Police and the Independent Police Conduct Authority are
investigating.
