Maori designers make an impact in Miromoda showcase

Air New Zealand Fashion Week's Miromoda collections debuted on the catwalk yesterday to a sea of delighted onlookers.

Eight Designers, all of indigenous Maori descent, showed their garments as part of the inaugural miromoda Maori design awards which were held in April.

The designers who participated were Wiremu Barriball, Samara Vercoe, Shane Hansen, Rerehau and Tutina, Junette Ward, Keri Wanoa and Bianca Walford Collier.
