Massive Battlefield 3 patch next week

In a surprise move, DICE have announced a new patch for Battlefield 3 which will fix a number of issues, including the M26 DART.
The patch will go live next week - the same day as new subscription service Battlefield Premium – but DICE have managed to keep the patch quiet despite the three-week approval period patches must go through for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
The most important fix the patch contains regards the M26 DART attachment for the Assault class.
The weapon has been bugged since the Back to Karkand patch was released late last year, where each shotgun round does between 20 and 30 damage to an enemy – as opposed to two or three.
In other crucial changes, the effect of suppression will be reduced, weapons with alternate fire rates will remember the mode (single shot, semi-automatic, full automatic) they are set on when a player respawns, and server admins will be able to assign a symbol to their server to allow players to easily pick out rented servers with custom rules.
Pilots of air vehicles will more reliably be able to deflect anti-air missiles when using the ECM Jammer, AA missiles will be able to hit fast-moving targets once again and smoke from an underslung grenade will disperse slower.
Support for colourblind players will be added to console titles, and the F35 jet will receive a boost to its manoeuvrability to match the SU35.
