North Queensland co-captain Matt Scott will return for the Cowboys in their NRL elimination final against Brisbane in Townsville on Saturday night.
The inspirational prop will run out for the Cowboys' first home final since 2007 fresh from a last round rest.
Coach Neil Henry has named a 19-man squad, with Anthony Mitchell again set to pressure James Segeyaro for the other utility bench spot.
Brisbane have retained the same 17-man squad which snapped the club's six-game NRL losing streak against Penrith.
The winner of the Cowboys-Broncos clash will face the loser of Friday night's Canterbury v Manly qualifying final.
