Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has left fans dumbfounded after taking to the stage at a gig in Singapore and accusing US President Barack Obama of using last month's Colorado cinema massacre and a recent shoot-out at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin to push through a nationwide gun ban back home.

The heavy rocker aimed his angry rant at the leader last week, telling fans he believed Obama was "staging" the murders.

In video footage released online, Mustaine says, "Back in my country, my president... he's trying to pass a gun ban, so he's staging all of these murders... Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there... and now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple."

And he didn't stop there - the rocker also revealed he was considering a move to Singapore, adding, "I don't know where I'm gonna live if America keeps going the way it's going because it looks like it's turning into Nazi America."
