Actress Megan Fox has tired of her famous Marilyn Monroe tattoo - because she doesn't want the Hollywood icon's "negativity" to rub off on her.

The Transformers star has proudly displayed the face of the late Hollywood icon on her forearm for years, but Fox admits she has grown tired of the ink - and now she's having it removed.

Speaking to Italian fashion magazine Amica, she says, "I'm removing it. She was a negative person, she was disturbed, bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life."

And the beauty is considering erasing some of the other nine tattoos she sports all over her body.

She adds, "Who knows, maybe I'll remove the others too, but the laser hurts."

Megan Fox has shown what a shallow, B-grade actor she really is. Not only has she has managed to alienate herself from people that suffer from bipolar, but calling Marilyn Monroe "negative"? I think Megan fails to see the irony of her caustic remarks. She will never have the eternal fame that Marilyn has achieved. Marilyn had class and never disrespected her acting peers. Megan could learn something about grace and dignity from Marilyn Monroe. In 20 years time, people will still remember legendary Marilyn Monroe. Can the same be said for Megan Fox?
