Two Christchurch men were arrested in the weekend for stealing 91 dozen beers.

Police pulled over a heavily weighed-down Mazda 323 on Friday night, as it appeared to be driving on its springs.

Much to their surprise, police found the car filled to the brim with Millers beer.

The two men in their 20s were arrested for the theft.
