I see there's some of the usual knee-jerk reaction from white knighting 'Patriarchy' conspiracy theorists, and some smart Alek teen humor minimizing NZ men's plight. Thankfully Mr Hans Levin and the Ministry Of Men's Affairs are working to raise awareness about Men's Rights in NZ. For those open to seeing another view here's something for patriarchy theorists to consider - http://www.angryharry.com/eswerewomenoppressedinthewest.htm??note And here are some of the reasons I think it's fair to say NZ needs a Ministry Of Men's Affairs - http://peterzohrab.tripod.com/manifest.html

Hi amused....
few people turned up for the occassion, not because MRA is addressing a trivial issue, but because people have not yet awakened to the fact about rights for men. But you are right if you think that the organizers have a very narrow focus. Men's issues are not limited to domestic issues. Men's right to live and right to safety is not considered a priority as women's. Example: International community has raised concerns about women's oppression in terror-stricken nations. But nobody seems to be concerned by the fact that small boys are brain-washed to become terrorist. Availability of men are always an asset to selfish leaders. Focussing on men's right can go a long way in achieving world peace.

"“We are going to mobilise men,” he says." The reality: "(F)ew people turned up for the occasion." MRAs are an international laughing stock. Absolutely everything they turn their attentions to fails, and fails totally. See avoiceformen or Spearhead to see what these jokers are all about. Hilarious.
