Authorities investigating the death of Michael Jackson have raided a pharmacy in Las Vegas in search of documents relating to drug prescriptions written by the King of Pop's personal physician Dr Conrad Murray.
Officers from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are considering a charge of manslaughter against Murray, who they believe is responsible for supplying Jackson with a range of powerful painkillers.
The 'Thriller' hitmaker's death on 25 June has been surrounded by controversy, with numerous reports suggesting Jackson died after taking a lethal dose of surgical anaesthetic Propofol.
Murray had his Las Vegas home and Texas storage facility raided at the end of July and DEA investigators, armed with a search warrant, swooped on Applied Pharmacy Services in Sin City on Tuesday to continue gathering evidence.
According to TMZ.com, police are looking for computer hard drives and documents detailing prescription and shipping information which they hope will prove Murray was the doctor supplying Jackson and his various aliases with medication.
An autopsy to determine the singer's cause of death has been completed but the results have been embargoed by police chiefs until they have completed their own investigation into the star's untimely demise.
