Christchurch Earthquake - A lot has been covered regarding the eastern suburbs, and rightly so. However it would appear that the thousands of us that live(d) within the central city have been largely overlooked. For years the Christchurch City Council encouraged us to move here, in order to revitalise the city and to bring it back to life, and many of us heeded that call. Yet all we appear to hear about now is the central BUSINESS district. The city centre that we still cannot enter was/is our suburb and home. It contains(d) our supermarkets, stores, gyms, parks, entertainment venues and more often than not our jobs. Revitalising the city centre and regenerating business will ultimately depend upon drawing people back in from the suburbs to work, play and shop, as well as promoting tourism. However, preserving the city centre as a neighbourhood has to be the first and best step towards this goal, just as it was when Christchurch City was first founded on land almost bare and barren as it is today. Wadda ya think?

OK so if we go back to the original report the only reason the "Aussies" are sure it was a minister of the crown is because when they asked a security guard to have a word to the person he replied he couldn't do anything because the person was a minister of the crown - anyone stop to think maybe the guard said that so he didn't have to do anything?

Haha. Exactly Rugger, if the source was so "Impeccable" then name your source. Pretty obvious that its a beat up. Does anyone really believe any Kiwi would be blowing up at an Australia versus Italy match where, lets face it Aussie played bloody average. Greg Growden's name is pretty apt....I can see his Nose Growing!

Hmmm me thinks that if his source was so reliable he would name him/her... seem's a little like a bush story to me... a Skippy the "Bush" Kangaroo story to be precise.

On one hand the whole of nz want to win the world cup , on the other hand we want to be opening and kind to the Aussies . I think one arm needs to be cut off , because really if there was no emotion no caring about the game. WHY ARE WE ALL DOING THIS !!!
