112 contestants from this year’s Miss World competition have modelled for Miss World Top Model in Johannesburg South Africa, showcasing the ‘Gold Creative’ designs.

The dresses were designed by seven South African fashion designers including: Diamond Face Couture, Haroun Hansrot, JJ Schoeman, Kluk CGdT, Marc & Michael, RJKay and Thula Sindi.

Miss Mexico - Perla Beltran Acosta - won the Miss World Top Model contest and she now joins the four contestants who will be fast tracked to the semi finals, Miss Japan (Miss World Sportswoman), Miss Sierra Leone, Miss Canada (joint tie winners of World Talent Show) and Miss Gibraltar (Miss World Beach Beauty).

Second in Miss World Fashion was Miss Vietnam, Tran Thi Huong Giang with Miss Martinique Ingrid Litter in third spot.

The talented Miss Sierra Leone - Mariatu Kargbo - wearing her country’s designer dress by Danny Tabet, was overcome with joy as she won an Award for Miss World Fashion designer of the year.

"I want to cry it is so great for me because it was like my dream, my dream is coming true” she said.
