Missing elderly man found

An elderly man who went missing from Waikato Hospital has been found safe and well.

Bruce Wells, who was being treated for bone cancer and who also suffered dementia, was found at a nearby medical centre last night, a hospital spokeswoman told NZPA.

The 78-year-old had gone missing earlier in the day.
