Dance star Moby has fallen in love with New Zealand after helping music fans welcome 2010 before almost anyone else on Earth.
Moby headlined the Rhythm & Vines festival which took place over the New Year in Gisborne, the most Easterly city in the world.
And he admits he was spellbound by his first visit to the antipodean country, writing online, "I'm in the very beautiful Gisborne, the first city after the dateline to see the new day, which means that it is far, far away from almost anything.
"New Zealand is a remarkable place. If you haven't been, I can only suggest that you figure out a way to give yourself a month to just ride and hike around New Zealand."
