Desiree says the rep never told her the interest rate and the next shot in the video clearly shows the interest rate at 19.90%. She is either an idiot for signing something she did not read completely or she is lying. Which is it, Desiree?

I watched the interview with interest and feel that the letter that was written to Desiree, said it all.
I am having a difficult time in believing that ANY company would come into your home and install ANYTHING, when the owner is standing there saying ...No I do not want it!!
Come on tv3....wakey! wakey!
Desiree seemed totally able to understand what was going on and clear headed.
I feel for the HRV company.
I feel they have been completely dooped, by this woman.

WHY DON'T I SUPPORT HRV wrote:

Hrv are forcing you to buy their system. They will use any tactic they can to achieve this. Open your windows more often and you will be allright. All they care about is your money. The system it's self is rather normal, nothing special. I wouldnt pay 3000 or more for one. Its not worth the price and i have no time for people who do.

WHY DO I SUPPORT HRV wrote:

1)The story here can't logically prove HRV was doing anything wrong. I know the lady had more than enough time to cancel the contract before installation. Why complain after 5 months?!! 2)If I tell you there are A FEW bad apples in Australia, will you call that country a "bad country"? What if I say there are a few good apples? 3)I know many people suffering from unhealthy home, and you know what- many of them aren't even aware. HRV is so far the most cost effective way to help you to improve the invisible health condition of your house (sometimes visible). 4)I know a few sales reps in this company who are really nice people. And I know many of their customers have become their friends. 5)People are critic. Most of the information in the media today are negative anyway. Out of over hundreds of thousands people using or being approached by HRV, why do we only hear a few times bad sound? (Maybe another 200? Still less than 0.1% anyway! )

I was interested to see this article having been unaware of the media attention HRV have been getting. I too had experienced first hand the persistent sales technique from HRV and having said no they charged my Q card and phoned to book in an installation time . I was shocked and really mad and told them to reverse the payment . I explained to the sales person that i was on cancer treatment and had only been given a certain ammount of time to live and I was not willing to put myself into too much debt. I needed to be very assertive and angry with the HRV payments lady to get my money back and fortunately I did. but it was only after going to use my Qcard for a small purchase that was declined that I was aware they had charged me without my knowing. I can relate to Desiree's situation as having had brain surgery and radiation its challenging to be pressured so much by two sales people in my own home. thank you for exposing this

Where is Marc Ellis on this, surely he wouldn't put up with someone dealing with his parents in this way. HRV is ahallow brand no real substance just a money grab = if they are not let them offer a 90 day money back guarantee - if customer not happy for any reason they can remove and contract is void - they might have to lift their selling "Game" considerably.

In any sales job there will be individuals who dont play by the rules. The sales people using thoes tactics of severe pressure would no doubt apply them to the next potential sales job. If HRV is to blame then so is every othere sales company.

We were pressured in to buying HRV about 5yrs ago and it has been a on going battle with them to get it removed, we completely redid the inside of our home at the time and were told that it would heat our home and that we would no longer have any or very little condensation on our windows, our house became very damp and we have mould on walls and our new drapes and carpet etc the system has been turn off for three years. .

You wonder why people are struggling in this economy? People like you, have nothing else better to do than run down businesses that are working hard, trying their best to make it work!! And not only does the company suffer from this pointless criticism but so do the team of sales reps that are trying to support their own families!! Your show should be done for bullying!! I'm sick of watching businesses getting bullied by you John cambell!!!
