From the great organic Giovanni range comes a wonderful root lifting spray that works! GIOVANNI ROOT 66 DIRECTIONAL LIFTING SPRAY ($25.50). Used everyday in the TV3 Make up room this gives great ‘oomph’ to the roots which everyone with fine limp hair needs. A really good spray nozzle to get right down into the base makes it very user friendly. And while you are at the Giovanni shelves pick up the LA HAIR SPRITZ $22.50 - a non-aerosol hair spray to lock your hair into place. It comes in really handy sizes 150ml or 60ml. It leaves a great shine on the hair but dont hold too close or it can dampen the hair down.

While we are on the organic theme, grab an AVALON ORGANIC DEODORANT ($19.99) The ingredients are better than most other deodorants which can contain aluminium, parabens, and triclosan just to name a few of the dangerous ones. Avalon deodorant contains grapefruit, lavender, rosemary, and geranium. All completely yummy and natural. I have certainly gone off the idea of using chemicals under my arms since I discovered something that works just as well.

The cleanser of my choice at the moment which I am absolutely loving is the TRILOGY SENSITIVE SKIN GENTLE CLEANSING CREAM at $39.90 for 150ml. It is super creamy and silky, removes makeup really well and doesn’t leave the tight dry feeling. I have been recommending it to all of my friends and colleagues even if they don’t have sensitive skin. It delicious! I have also been following up with the TRILOGY SENSITIVE GENTLE MOISTURISING CREAM ($45.90 for 50 ml) Which is quite light so would work well with normal/sensitive/combination or oily skins as a day or night cream. If using as a day cream remember to follow up with a SPF cream on top.

I am a sucker for beauty products especially ones that smell yummy enough to eat. I haven’t quite come the point where I have dipped my finger in to have a taste, but when I recently met Kate Ritchie from Home And Away, and I was lucky enough to do her Makeup, she smelt like something from a decadent French bakery. Naturally I asked what she was wearing and she told me the reason she was visiting our shores was as an Ambassador for Vaseline, and she was wearing the VASELINE COCOA BUTTER BODY MOISTURISER. Available at supermarkets in a butter ($11.99) or lotion ($8.89) but beware you will have people following you around the building wanting to lick you!
