Mother and daughter missing since Christmas Day

Police are concerned for the wellbeing of a mother and her young child, who have been missing for almost a week.

Natasha Pokai and her three-month old baby daughter Natasha Jazclynn Pokai were last seen at the Auckland City Mission on Christmas Day.

Police say the pair are believed to be living rough somewhere in the city, or in the Parnell area.

Natasha Pokai is described as a Maori woman of medium build, 1.5m tall, fair-skinned, light brown hair below shoulder length (pony tail) and has missing front teeth.
