Motorcyclist killed near Stratford

A motorcyclist died this afternoon in Stratford after being hit by a ute.

The 38-year-old was travelling along Beaconsfield Rd, and the driver of the ute, coming in the opposite direction, turned in front of him.

He died at the scene after emergency services failed to save him.

The ute driver was unhurt.

Another family devistated by another persons inattention while driving on the road. When will the excuse "I didn't see him" not be accepted by our Courts. Dangerous driving causing death should carry an automatic jail sentence. That might help stop some of the inattention.
