Private school kids singing sea shanties might not be a genre you'd expect to almost knock Justin Bieber off the top of the US charts.

But Mumford & Sons almost did.

They were out until 4am this morning at the Music Awards but still sat down with Ali Ikram ahead of tonight's gig at the Vector Arena.
