Musician builds instruments from Christchurch’s rubble

The rebuild of Christchurch will take years.

Thousands of homes and buildings are being demolished. Gone forever.

But they will not be forgotten thanks to a project that aims to make something beautiful out of the rubble.

Christchurch musician Jason Pickering is using raw materials from the rubble to construct instruments.

Monique Devereux reports.

Could the large cat seen in chch be a domestic feral cross like a Savannah? same size as a dog but a domestic cat crossed with a Serval. very expensive, can be up to 25kg. popular in the US but banned in some states, could possibly be imported here as a pet.
