Another busy afternoon of Sevens rugby has decided the semi finalists of this year’s Wellington Sevens tournament, including a New Zealand side that overcame their Day 1 wobbles to dominate Australia.
Their 24-5 win over the green and gold sets them up with a semi final clash against Kenya who upset South Africa after fighting back from conceding three first-half tries in a thrilling 21-20 win.
England and Samoa will face-off in the other semi-final, both teams triumphing in 31-7 hammerings of Scotland and Argentina respectively.
Both teams will be seeking to maintain unbeaten records in this tournament so far.
