This is Ruby Boutique’s second year showing at New Zealand Fashion Week.
The label started off producing street wear style clothing but has evolved over eight years to become a fully-fledged fashion brand led by designer Deanna Didovich.
The brand was named Metro magazine Designer of the Year in 2010.
This year’s collection is likely to feature colour contrasted with prints in both day wear and evening wear.
As well as clothing, Ruby recently launched footwear and jewellery lines.
Ruby’s sub-label Liam launched last year and will also be showing at New Zealand Fashion Week. Liam clothing is described as having “the spirit of Ruby with a sophisticated ease” and is designed by Emily Miller-Sharma.
Ruby has seven boutiques around the country and the clothing is also available in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
