NZ First still in the game despite Prosser

Richard Prosser may have apologised for his comments about Wogistan and banning Muslim men from air travel.
In an interview with 3 News, his apology extended only to the way his article was written. He's denied being racist, and stands by his comments mocking Allah.
“The majority of Muslims are peaceful, law abiding people who are not involved with terrorism and I didn't do enough to separate those two things in that article,” he says.
Yet he wasn't too worried about using the term "Wogistan".
Wog is a racially offensive slang word but Mr Prosser doesn't think he's racist.
His original rant began when he had his pocket knife confiscated by airline security. He admits it made him very angry. So angry he decided a majority of Muslim males should be banned from flying - and told them to take camels instead.
It's offended many in the Muslim world - there are 1.6 billion worldwide and 36,000 in New Zealand. But he’s still standing by the line that their God Allah is an imaginary friend in the sky.
“Look people can get upset about that if they want, there are some people that are more easily outraged than they should be,” he says.
Prosser got a ticking off from his party leader Winston Peters.
“I think he's been given a kick where the sun don't shine and he'll probably be eating his meals off the mantlepiece for the next week,” Mr Peters said today.
But Mr Prosser will keep his seat in Parliament.
The major parties aren't so outraged as to rule out dealing with the party that harbours Mr Prosser to get power at the next election, so he and New Zealand First are still in the game.

Problem is huang, you don't get to ban them before they have taken down a plane, building or something else.
Didn't someone say, "east to west, west to east, but never the twain should meet"?!

I will support banning any muslims who openly called for the killing of infidels from flying.

Isn't Wogistan a suburb of Auckland? :)

Richard Prosser is an ignorant twit. Just because someone is a Muslim does not make him a violent person nor because someone who looks like a Muslim (whatever that means) makes him violent. Does this mean that Catholic priests should not work in a kindergarten as well as anyone else who looks Catholic? (wonder who will be implicated there...)Duncan is equally ignorant in saying that all terrorists are Muslim. Look up the definition of the word it doesnt say anything about being a Muslim. The IRA, Anders Breivik and Adam Lanza are all terrorists but none of them are Muslim.

Not according to the latest Roy Morgan poll, which has NZF at four percent, unable to re-enter Parliament without a pinion constituency seat- which it doesn't have- although clearly, that poll was taken before the 'beardie weirdo's' rant against Muslims.

Neither a Christian nor a Muslim, I am really shocked by the naive and ignorant religious commemts of Mr PROSSER on all Muslims...hopefully he should sincerely apologise to all Muslims in a mosque (Muslim holy place of worship) to recoup his tarnished image.

Lets focus on something he did say..."not all muslims are terrorists yet all terrorists are muslims." You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see this truth. Thanks to the muslim terrorists all muslims are seen through suspicious eyes until proven they are not a threat. As to the term "Wog" being racist, hogwash, go rent the Australian movie "Wog Boy" this term is used by Greeks to describe Greeks, at least in the state of Victoria. Anyone who denies radical muslims are a threat to western culture has their head in the sand. He, the MP, however, did go way too far in his comments by using terms not seen as racist in a clearly racist manner, i.e., Kiwi is NOT a racist term unless used as such like Kiwistan. This is my opinion and I make no apologies for having one.

Yawn..what an ignorant person he is...he doesn't even know that Bapak Allah....is also the God of Christians , and Jews ....we have a young Muslim living with us ...he is a Ph D studnet...unlike Mr Prosser he is educated, a gentlman and the soul of discretion...he is the enbodiment of peace...Mr Prosser has done all New Zealanders much harm. ..let's hope that he off the list asap. Why doesn't Prosser focus of the real issues in NZ, Child Poverty, Employment rates, the housing crisis, the health of the nation and the shocking cost of living...Get real Prosser...if you can't handle the real issues affecting NZrs get off the gravy train!

It is unfortunate that an MP would make suck remarks about Muslims, and specifically Allah, Allah translated into Te Reo is Io, or in English God. How does this attitude reconcile it's self with Maori Muslim reverts? How do these comments relate to the OPEC country's is this an acceptable example to lead by? Our young people should be inspired by our leaders to be proactive, constructive and compassionate, not to be fearful or to insight racial violence by example. If Mr Prosser fears Islam so much, then perhaps it maybe a good idea to meet some Maori reverts so he may know the truth and make an informed decision as any good leader would.
