NZ ODI ranking below Bangladesh

New Zealand have slumped further below Bangladesh in ninth place on the one-day international cricket world rankings.

The latest International Cricket Council ranking lists shows the Black Caps are rated eighth in both the Test and Twenty20 cricket. But a record of 10 losses from their last 11 ODIs has seen them slump further behind Bangladesh, who have just completed successive home wins over the West Indies.

South Africa and England remain top in the respective Test and ODI rankings while Sri Lanka top the Twenty20 lists.

There is more positive news in the latest player rankings, where Black Caps captain Ross Taylor has improved to ninth as a Test batsman. Brendon McCullum is next best in 27th.

Seamer Tim Southee's recent form has lifted him to 19th among Test bowlers, nestled between veteran teammates Chris Martin (17th) and Daniel Vettori (22nd).

In ODIs, Kyle Mills is the 12th best bowler and Taylor the 18th best batsman.
