I pay Telstra Clear to provide me a connection to the internet. They promise the connection is "as fast as [my] line can handle". They then sell the same bandwidth to other people under the assumption that when I'm not using it, they can. This isn't a problem if they do it a little bit; however, now it's blown so far out of proportion that I am UNABLE to access the internet AT ALL during peak times. If you are considering switching to/signing up with Telstra, I urge you to reconsider. They are drooling profit-hungry corporate cheats who deserve to go under.
