Greenpeace - get a life! And just how many of these Pacific nations ever make a conserted effort to vote for items important to New Zealand (trade issues for one). Funny they don't bleat (nor does Greenpeace) when they benefit from New Zealand government hand outs - which by the way are mainly achieved through our taxation of ALL forms of farming/forestry/horticulture. As a Canadian by birth - Greenpeace is a Huge embarrassment to me.

"Piss off" Greenpeace, have a go at the big boys, the ones that are really causing the vast majority of the Worlds pollution problems. Why is it that you pick on such an insignificant pollutant contributor, such as NZ. Even if we stopped immediately all our pollution discharges, it would make no difference to the "world" at all.

The carbon trading scam is just that - a scam. It's designed to make money for the wealthy. CO2 is not destroying our atmosphere, as one scientist has stated - CO2 does not rise to the atmosphere, it's too heavy to do that. What is killing the atmosphere are the planes, jet planes and rockets and the cutting down of the forests - vital to reducing the CO2. It's this that the world leaders don't want you to know, making these changes reduces their profits.

Self-interest - the story of the human race unfortunately. New Zealand is becoming a pretty shameful place when it comes to anything environmental as far as I'm concerned.

it's strange our science, respectable scientists have proven that climate change is directly connected to the activity on the sun, even that we are heading into a period of global cooling, but greenpeace refuse to accept the work of such organizations as NASA that provide this evidence.

Everyone needs to get their head around the fact that government intervention is basicly redundant when ever there is an oppertuniy for self-interest.
