NZ nano-tech research fuels business

It's something of a buzzword: nano-technology.
It's the science of the very, very small.
Nano-technology has been the basis of some of the great technological leaps of the past two decades, and it's a given that it will "power" progress for a long time to come.
Along with their counterparts around the world, New Zealand scientists are looking for the next big breakthrough – the next discovery with the potential to change the way we operate.
In part one of our report on technology, journalist Daryll Hutchison met several scientists who are leading the way through their research.
Now, in part two, he meets three men who have taken New Zealand research, and developed it into globally successful businesses.
