I say evacuate as many people as possible, do a recon over a major Taliban base and get the Yanks to drop a nuke. I mean they've done it before and they didn't care.
Or pull out all the troops and forget about the damn thing. Actually do what they did in 2001. Bomb the hell out of everything and see what happens! :)

First and foremost I do not understand a persons drive for the PM spot with the current world climate, the allied world leaders are taking on too much and seem destined for failure at all angles....having said that! going back as far as Piggy Mulldoon and to hear his account and new found respect for the then SAS squadron of their CT & CRW capability and handling of terrorist threats and situations offshore. Piggy was well impressed after standing between two static cardboard targets and having black clad action men storm a small room while firing live rounds either side, the start of a new warming in process for new PMs which has a profound affect and in years to come saw the increased funding to the defence force in those areas other than Navy and aircraft. The training of these Elite soldiers is top priority of NZ DF and comes in excess of $NZ 4m per soldier per year and John Key is more than likely upping that in the very near future as these soldiers are training constantly for Afganistan and other conflicts but the focus being the former as the world no longer fights as Rumsfeld explained coventional wars with conventional forces, and we must praise these soldiers and leave them there because that is what they signed up for twice in their careers and they are winning hearts and minds and cleaning up the scum.
