Warning All Pregnant Women: Miscarriages From H1N1 Vaccine As High As 3,587 Cases A shocking report from the National Coalition of Organized Women (NCOW) presented data from two different sources demonstrating that the 2009/10 H1N1 vaccines contributed to an estimated 1,588 miscarriages and stillbirths. A corrected estimate may be as high as 3,587 cases. NCOW also highlights the fact that the CDC failed to inform their vaccine providers of the incoming data of the reports of suspected H1N1 vaccine related fetal demise. http://preventdisease.com/news/10/091410_H1N1_miscarriages_shocking_report.shtml

Notice how 'swine flu' has suddenly died down, just like 'bird flu' did. Many die from flu each year and it goes unreported, difference here is the media attention. I wonder how much Roche have made from their sales of Tamiflu. Isn't it also ironic that Donald Rumsfeld, ex secretary of defense under Gorge Bush and major instigator of the Iraq war is a major shareholder of Roche! Hmmmm..... makes you wonder.

We actually, Jordan, there is a substantial annual vaccination programme for the seasonal flu and it is conceivable that next year it could incorporate the swine flu vaccine. We should be continuing to take sensible precautions to prevent spread of infections - after all hand washing and good personal hygiene will minimise colds and the risk of seasonal flu as well. Just because we have been fortunate this time that the swine flu has not been as serious as it could have been doesn't mean we should consider it "blown out of proportion". The fact is that next time around it could well be more serious and the positive thing about this pandemic is that it has let the health sector test their systems of dealing with large numbers of cases. Your attitude is typical many who think "It'll never happen to us" and are unable to make rational informed decisions about risks. Just because something is infrequent, doesn't mean it won't happen. I'll have your vaccination if you don't want it... ;-)
