New Zealand’s Next Top Model contestant Rosanagh Wypych did not declare full details of her criminal convictions to TV3, the network has revealed in a statement today.

The 17-year-old has a previous drink-driving conviction, after being caught while driving to a party after consuming alcoholic punch.

Under changes to driving laws brought in earlier this month which mean drivers under 20 years of age have a breath-alcohol limit of zero, Ms Wypych would have been given an instant $200 fine and 20 demerit points.

While TV3 was aware of Rosanagh's drunk-driving conviction from February, which she has regularly discussed on the show, the network says she did not disclose a subsequent driving while disqualified incident which occurred prior to the start of filming and resulted in a second court appearance and conviction.

The models travelled to Abu Dhabi during the current cycle, and if she needed a visa Ms Wypych would have been required to declare both convictions, but those working on the show say they still remained in the dark during the trip.

TV3 has investigated the matter, and Rosanagh remains in the running towards becoming New Zealand's Next Top Model along with Bianca Cutts and Brigette Thomas.

There is one more episode left in the current series, the live season finale which will air on TV3 on September 2.
